Water Play Olympics

So much fun with our water play olympics at Little Stars on the Lane. Our children loved learning about pouring, volume, measuring, taking turns and working together - all whilst enjoying every moment. Making great memories this week.

Last week for some of our little ones

A very emotional week last week as we said goodbye to some of our little ones who will move on to school. We will miss them so much but we’re delighted to see each of them grow into the strong, independent personalities they have become. ❤️❤️❤️

Global Garden Graduation

Massive well done to these guys today, heading off to BIG school, it has been an absolute pleasure helping you prepare for this next chapter.

Not forgetting our little ones we look forward to working with you all again next year. You all did amazing today and we are all so so proud of each and everyone of you 🥰❤❤ have a fantastic weekend. See you all next week for our end of year party. 🥳

Sea Creatures

We had so much fun learning about sea creatures this week at Little Stars on the Lane. Our children extended their learning of sea creatures to sea food and then on to healthy eating. It’s so beautiful to see emergent interests flourish amongst the children.

Global Garden Post Office

This week our community helpers took us to the post office to chat about the important job the postman has to help us get our letters, we made Global Garden post cards, designed and painted our stamps and had lots of fun playing post office and posting our post cards. The postman even popped his head on to say "hello" to us whole busy delivering his letters.😀We will continue with community helpers next week.

Hi all, we had a theme farm this week. We made paper plate cows and a milking the cow activity 🐄. We finger painted muddy pigs and group painted a barn for the wall. We finished the week up with a farm sensory table that the children really loved. The children told us about all the animals they seen at the party on the weekend 🐖 and any animals they have spotted in fields 🐑 . We hope you all have a lovely weekend ☀️

Transportation Theme in Global garden

This week we completed our transportation theme, we enjoyed PE and games in the hall, painting and putting together our transportation posters. Lots of practise has begun for our end of year Graduation concert. Massive thanks to Sofia and Ava who joined us this week in Ro's absence. Next week we will be looking at community helpers. Great work at Little Stars Theatre Lane last week. We learned about our bodies, strong teeth and hearts. We also learned about growing plants and insects, all while having so much fun with our friends

Easter at Seagreen

We had so much fun in Little Stars on the lane - Seagreen this week with our Easter Celebrations. The Egg hunts were legendary! Each child loved their Easter gift. We are so grateful to our team who put huge effort into making the week so special for our little ones

Looking after our Teeth

Fruit and Vegetables

Hi all We have been having lots of fun learning about our fruit and Vegetables.🍎🫐🍎 The children have explored different methods of creating art, including printing with bubble wrap and using food as stampers. We have made smoothies and played guess the food games. We created fun food work sheets for the children to practice pencil control and introduced scissors work to strengthen our coordination and concentration. We are learning a new circle time song also.

Sea Animals

We had a really busy and exciting week in Little Stars on the Lane. In our Global Room, our little ones learned about animals that live in the sea🌊 The children had a really good time making lots of arts about them! We also had lots of fun in circle time, where we learned new songs, we practiced our colors and numbers. Through all of this activities we aim to motivate their curiosity to learn new things whilst developing their cognitive, motor, sensory and emotional skills.
