Life cycle of a butterfly theme
So much excitement this week as we had our life cycle of a butterfly theme 🐛🦋 the children were introduced to the rainbow rooms live caterpillars and are learning the process of the butterfly cycle through stories, play and seeing the cycle happen in their room 🙂
Outer Space 🪐🌠
Our theme for this week was outer space 🪐🌠 we learned all about the galaxy, the names of planets and all about astronauts 👨🚀 we also made alien slime to add to the fun!
Sunny Day at Little Stars

Springtime Crafts
We had so much fun with our Springtime crafts this week at Little Stars.
Three Little Pigs
This is a very fun activity. This morning in circle time we read the book of the three little pigs (they love the wolf🐺🤭). Then we went to the garden and built a "straw" house, a "wood" house and a "brick" house.
It was a role-playing game in which the children had a lot of fun.🤗

We had two themes this week firstly we learned about our bodies, parts of the body and how to keep our bodies healthy. We had lots of art and fun activities through both Irish and English. We then also learned about Chinese New Year. We learned about beautiful Cherry Blossom trees and dragons and we made fortune cookies! We had a fabulous week.

We’ve been busy learning about our bodies and our senses in Little Stars. We’ve been learning about hot and cold and about our sense of touch.

Santa stopped by!
We had a very special visitor to Little Stars today. Santa heard each group sing him some songs in many languages (Gaeilge Sa Naíonra) and Santa had a beautiful present of a lovely Christmas book for each child. 🎅🎅🎅🎄🎄🎄
Together for Homeless
Well done to all our children and families who collected food under their giving trees for “Together for Homeless”. We are so grateful for their generosity. The children loved giving and learning about the importance of giving.
