Space and the planets
Hello! last week we have been learning about space and the planets, we did our solar system mural as a team, making the planets with marbles and paint, we have learnt a song about the planets and we have read books about space and the planets. We have our planet flashcards on the wall. We have played with rockets, stones and diamonds, on the sensory table, and with glitter play dough. We have also made our own solar system with watercolours and pipettes on cotton wool! We also played in the garden, sang songs and danced! We had a great time!
Dinosaurs!
We have finished our dinosaur theme 🦕. We had lots of fun learning about the different dinosaurs and learning a new song. We had fun activities and arts and crafts. We excavated dinosaurs from ice eggs, we made triceratops head bands, we had group painting, and much more !
Halloween
Hi all, we have had a busy 2 weeks of Halloween fun 🎃 the children have made splatter painting ghosts, crepe paper bats, spiders, and clay decorations. We have had lots of sensory fun with cloud dough and jelly. For our Halloween party, we made chocolate apples, a puff pastry spider, had a disco, and had great fun getting messy in a Halloween theme sensory room. Teaching our preschoolers pre-maths, through learning about size, shape, volume, matching at little Stars We also used fine motor skills and hand eye coordination to help our little ones development.
Autumn in Little Stars
Last week was all about Autumn. The children learned a new song about a hedgehog and made their own hedgehog using leaves. The children did leaf printing, using a leaf at the back of paper and crayons. We had an activity using acorns and pine cones that the children tried to put in a kitchen roll using spoons. This develops their fine motor skills, concentration, sense of space and sense of curiosity. The children did play dough using the autumn treasures from parents. Thanks again for bringing them in. The children played with leaves as a sensory activity on the tray table. We also discussed the autumn colours and the children took part in all these activites alongside their friends.

Stop and go signs
This week we have talked about road safety, painted our own pedestrian crossing, our own stop and go signs, made our own traffic lights and today we practised “crossing the road”. We have also played with water, listened to stories and decorated biscuits to celebrate Nina's birthday!! Have a lovely weekend 🥰
Exploring Autumn
This week we explored autumn. The children made leaf wreaths and we did water play with acorns, leafs and pine cones.
Next week, we will continue the autumn theme. We ask if parents could please bring in leaves, acorns, concors and pine cones next week for our autumn activities if they find them on a trip to the park or in nature. Thanks very much

Busy Week down the beach, baking and Crafts
Our children had a very busy week, they went to collect stones at the beach so we could paint them when we got back. We also baked for our teddy bears picnic.
